Care Instructions
Cleaning & Leather Nourishment
Over time, regular use and changing weather conditions may cause leather to become dry due to the loss of its natural oils. To maintain its softness, appearance, and durability, use a natural leather cleaner to gently clean the surface and replenish its natural oils and waxes.
How to Apply Leather Cleaner to Craftyther Leather Bags
- Use a neat and clean damp towel to gently wipe the leather.
- Apply a small amount of natural leather cleaner to the damp towel.
- Gently apply the cleaner to the leather bag using circular motions.
- Ensure that the cleaner is applied evenly across the entire leather surface.
- Once applied, leave the bag undisturbed and allow it to dry naturally.
- Do not touch or handle the bag while it is drying.
- Keep the bag away from direct heat sources while drying.
- Once the leather is completely dry, gently buff the surface with a clean, dry cloth to restore its natural sheen and finish.
Storage & Fungus Control
Avoid storing leather products in polythene or plastic bags, or in damp and dark places, as these conditions can promote fungus and mould growth.
Always store your Craftyther leather products in the provided non-woven material bags. These bags allow proper air circulation and help keep your leather products well ventilated.
Leather Care Tips
Follow these simple care instructions to prolong the life of your Craftyther leather product and enjoy its beauty for years to come:
- Keep leather products away from excessive heat, as prolonged exposure can cause the leather to dry out and crack.
- Protect leather from direct sunlight and strong artificial light, as prolonged exposure may cause the colour to fade.
- Keep oil, ink, and ballpoint pens away from leather, as these can leave permanent stains.
- Store your leather product in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated place.
- Never store leather products in plastic or polythene bags.
- Craftyther leather products are water-resistant but are not designed to withstand heavy rain or prolonged exposure to water.
- If your leather product gets wet, allow it to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area under normal light.
- Do not use a hair dryer, heater, or any direct heat source to dry the leather.
